Our History
Agroindustrias Café San José S.A. de C.V. is located in Las Delicias, in the municipality of San José, department of La Paz, Honduras, Central America, nestled between the Montecillos and Jilguero mountain ranges. Our project was founded in July 2022 with the purpose of producing high-quality raw materials—premium coffee—through responsible agricultural practices, sustainability, and social commitment. Our mission is to add value to our production, transform it into export-quality coffee, and establish direct trade with the United States and Germany at fair prices. This is how our journey began.
Today, we operate a 30-manzana productive unit strategically located at the main entrance of the municipality, with internal roads, access to essential services, and an average altitude of 1,435 meters above sea level. Our farm benefits from its own water source and complete infrastructure, including fully equipped wet and dry processing facilities, drying areas, and organic fertilizer preparation zones. Here, we cultivate specialty Arabica coffee varieties along with seasonal fruits, ensuring both quality and sustainability in every stage of production.
Our agro-industrial project began by adding value to coffee as our primary source of income. The company’s core business is the production, processing, and commercialization of coffee. We have the necessary machinery and operational capacity to process coffee from harvest to export-ready green coffee, packaged according to importer requirements. With access to both national and international markets, including Germany and the United States, our goal is to continue expanding exports and introduce our coffee to additional global markets.
As part of our diversification and long-term business growth strategy, we are also developing agrotourism initiatives. These experiences will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy and learn about the various stages of coffee cultivation, production, and preparation. This expansion will not only strengthen our business but also diversify the local economy by creating meaningful employment opportunities for both men and women, contributing to sustainable community development.
